Description. Unlike CP-399, this beautiful specimen has a prepared umbilicus but a non-pearly test. Suture portions show that the beginning of the body chamber occupies the last eighth of whorl. The whorls 80% covered have a compressed lanceolate section, with a very narrowly rounded, almost acute venter. The umbilicus is small, stepped, with a flat wall sloping at 70° and an almost angular edge. The only ornamentation is made up of fine proverse and falcate growth striae. Even in raking light, we do not observe the faint concave crescents visible on CP-399.
